It's almost official: teagirl & carguy are no longer residents of Vancouver, BC - we're "Victoria-ites" now! Until now it's been mostly teagirl camping out at the new place but after wedding #2 of the summer this weekend, we're both going to live there together (imagine that!) for a whopping two weeks.
We thought we'd offer some photos of the move-out experience, which was a bit of a whirlwind: teagirl was traveling in Ecuador until 9 days before we moved out... and we have a LOT of stuff. So packing in 9 days was a challenge (and it had to be "really" packed, because a real moving truck and real moving guys were coming to take it all away. HOOOORAY!!).
This is some of the Lots of Stuff in our old (lovely) place:

The tea area:

Lots of Plants (but no balcony):

LOTS of boxes:

Carguy can't get this one closed, he needs some help

So it's a perfect opportunity to capture on film the incredible disgustiness of his feet!

Some friends came over to help celebrate our house-cooling

And our pal T helped us move ALL this stuff down three flights of stairs and into a truck. Phew!

And next... Victoria!
